Break the Cycle Fun Run

Saturday, May 16, 2026, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for the annual Break the Cycle Fun Run on May 16th at Gordon Park! The run will start at 9:00 am, and the cost is $25 per person ages 9 and up. (Kids 8 and under are free.) This event is a way to support our ministry partner Welcomed by raising awareness of the disruptions faced by children in foster care. It also supports Welcomed’s efforts to surround foster families with caring communities, as the race registration fee goes directly towards Welcomed’s work. This is a very family-friendly, social event. Feel free to walk, run, roll, and enjoy snacks with old (and new) friends!

Courts & Community PICNIC

Join us for a picnic at Grant Park (Picnic Area 7) on Saturday, August 8, from 4-8pm! More details TBD.

***Please RSVP the number of adults and kids attending so organizers can be prepared with food and games. Use the form or email info@cityreformedchurch.org.

BYO: side dish and dessert to share

Consider Bringing: your favorite yard games, lawn chairs

There is a playground next to the picnic area, as well as a short walk to the beach. A grass volleyball net will be set up to play.

(Grant Park is large and has many streets and picnic areas! One way to get directions to Picnic Area 7 is to look up Wil-O-Way Park at 207 Lake Drive, South Milwaukee, WI 53172, and instead of taking the last right toward the Wil-O-Way building, drive straight into the parking lot at Picnic Area 7 and 8.)
